Data analytics is in the frontiers of IT, creating many opportunities both in research and industry. This workshop is designed to impart essential knowledge for research scholars, professionals, and teachers in data mining and analytics to start their research / career independently. R is a freeware and provides a powerful software environment for statistical computing and graphics, which is widely used for data mining and analytics applications.
The workshop provides a hands on platform to understand data mining and knowledge discovery process very closely, to the participants. The workshop starts from very basics of data analytics and R programming, how to import data from various formats, manipulate and visualize etc., to advanced topics like predictive modeling, and outlier analysis, optimizing results and interpreting them. The workshop also enables the participants to carry out their research in data mining and analytics independently.
